A “smoky eye” always seems to be a favorite, this season try putting away the gray, black and dark brown eye shadow. Instead, try green, blue, purple or pink. Blending is the key to a beautiful “bright smoky eye”. There should be a smooth transition from color to color, no edges, like smoke fading.
Pair a very light base color with a rich, bight shade. Blend, blend, blend and if you are wondering if you have blended enough, blend some more.
If the idea of bright colors scare you, chose a color that is a bit more muted, with a golden undertone that compliments your skin. This makes it easier to blend and may make you feel more sophisticated, not shocking.
